As for the accesses in the C code that turns out that the default the the MMU does not give access to the AM3352s internal registers like all the PER registers.
For right now I disabled the MMU which makes more sense when you are running SYSBIOS (TI-RTOS) or no OS.
Even if you don't run with the MMU it starts coming up and not until the BIOS starts does it look like it mike get disabled.
