Forum Post: Use Quadrature decoder inputs with StarterWare

Hi,

I plan to use the quadrature decoder inputs eQEP1A_in and eQEP1B_in with StarterWare. I already found that there is no example available that shows how to count increments from an connected encoder.

Now I try to implement this functionality from scratch. Unfortunately I can't find any constants/defines for requred registers QDECCTL/QEPCTL/QPOSMAX/QPOSCNT/QCAPCTL.

So my question: are there any header files available somewhere where I can find usable, ready-to-use register definitions or do I have to implement this for my own?
