Forum Post: 4GB micron eMMC porting with am335x processor and how to make it the eMMC read write cycle operation

Hi,

   Presently iam using ti SDK7.00,I want to integrate the eMMC device with Am335x-MMC1 interface(MMCDAT0-MMCDATA7).

Please let me know the procedure of integration  this eMMC driver and i need the eMMC driver path in ti sdk7.00.

currenly iam checking the following driver path for MMC Boot ,This is the one correct driver of erMMC also ?

drivers/mmc/host/omap_hsmmc.c

How to read read and write to the eMMC chip,how to access eMMC read and write in command line.

Please provide the eMMC API's of READ /WRITE,Verifying tha data and how to format/Partition the eMMC  memory in command line.ALso driver level what and all API's are ther to access the eMMC ful device functionality.
