Forum Post: How to encode DCI 4k 24p into jpeg2000 with 66ak2h14

Hi, I am currently looking into building a small jpeg2000 based encoder. I am having trouble finding information on how many cores needed to do a motion jpeg2000 encode, no need for much compression as it will be used to capture raw hdmi dci 4k at 4:2:2 12 bit.

Will one 66ak2h14 be enough with the 8 dsps or will I need more just for the endcode and output to hdd.

I am looking for a more simple solution than fpga or using the ada212 asic
