Dear Judah;
Thank you for your reply. To answer your question, when I wrote:
" I have noticed that when references are made with respect to the MSP430 - TI RTOS and assembly language there appears to be files that are not associated with TI's software offerings."
I was referring to webpages that I saw whereby other user's have made TI's hardware functional through assembly language, however, these individuals had utilized files that did not appear to be associated with TI's software offerings. Please interpret this "passage" as an "aside" for now, as it does not appear to be relevant any longer because you are directing me to a working solution that I know to be "stable" programming information source (a programming platform utilized by TI).
I would like to thank you for pointing me to this information source. I am going to re-evaluate this information source. I "flipped" through the book, but, I didn't read the book in its entirety yet. I was hoping that there was a web page devoted to assembly language programming with the MSP430 product line. Hopefully, a link from this information source will lead me to an assembler language full development web page link with examples and, hopefully, a community support web page. This is what I was hoping to find at this forum.
I will keep you posted on how this search develops and, again, I would like to thank you the information. It was appreciated.
Sincere Regards,
Michael
