Your code for adding the CS2 memory section looks ok to me.  You should make sure this memory is not allocated already to Linux.  This link might be useful:

You can also enable DSPLink trace and see if there is any trace output that might indicate the problem.  Here are instructions for turning on DSPLink trace:
